We of the Navy League believe:

... that an informed public is indispensable to national security.
... in adequate appropriations for the Armed Forces.
... that Congress must maintain its constitutional authority over the Armed Forces.
... that our nation must lead the world in scientific research and development.
... that our government must strive for peace through international cooperation.
... in a foreigen policy which will avoid wars. . if possible; if not, win them!
We pledge our loyalty to the government and to the flag
